Questions people actually ask
How much does mobile car detailing cost in Sacramento?
One flat, upfront price: The Refresh — complete interior + exterior — is $149 for sedans/coupes, $179 for SUVs and small trucks, $209 for XL trucks, 3-rows, and vans. The monthly plan starts at $89/month. No quotes, no arrival-day upsells.
What's the difference between this and a car wash?
A drive-through wash runs recycled brushes over your car in four minutes — that's where swirl marks come from. A detail is hand work: two-bucket wash, hand-finished interior, layered protection, and a 47-point inspection you get a signed copy of. A wash rinses your car. A detail restores it. How does booking work?
Book online in about 60 seconds: enter your address, pick a day and time from live availability, and a 20% deposit (~$30) locks your slot — it's applied to your total. You'll get an email confirmation, a calendar invite, and a reminder text the morning before. Prefer a human? Text or call (866) 283-5765.
Why is there a deposit?
The deposit locks your exact time slot on a 12-car-a-week calendar — it's what makes "instant booking" real instead of "request and hope." It comes straight off your total, and the balance is due only after the final walkaround.
What's your cancellation policy?
Simple: cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours before your appointment and your deposit is fully refunded to your original payment method (refunds usually land in 5–10 business days). Inside 12 hours, the deposit is non-refundable — that slot was held for you. Weather cancellations always preserve your deposit, whatever the timing. Reschedule or cancel yourself anytime via the manage link in your confirmation text — no phone call needed.
Do I need to provide water or electricity?
Just two small things: access to a water spigot and a standard outdoor outlet — every tool, towel, and product is on the rig, and setup takes about two minutes. Apartment or office without easy hookups? Text me a photo of the parking spot and I'll tell you honestly if it'll work. (A fully self-contained rig with onboard water and power is on the roadmap.)
How long does a detail take?
The Refresh runs about 2.5–3 hours on a sedan, longer for SUVs and trucks. You don't need to be there — hand off the keys and get back to your day.
What areas do you serve? Any travel fees?
No travel fee in Sacramento, Elk Grove, Natomas, Rancho Cordova, and nearby neighborhoods. Folsom, Roseville, and Rocklin run $15–$25, confirmed before you book. See the city pages for local details.
How does the monthly plan work?
First visit is a Refresh at the regular price. After that, you get a maintenance detail every month at the same recurring time slot, from $89/month for sedans. Your rate is locked, you get priority scheduling and 15% off add-ons, and you can cancel with one text.
What if it rains?
Interior work happens rain or shine. If rain would affect the exterior, you'll get a text the day before to reschedule free — your deposit is fully preserved and you keep priority for the next open slot.
Can you handle pet hair, stains, and odors?
Yes — flat-priced add-ons ($40–$50). Heavy cases get confirmed by photo before the appointment, so the price never changes when I arrive.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
Every job ends with a checklist walkaround. Anything missed gets fixed on the spot — or your next detail is free. It's the same owner-operator every visit, so the standard never slips.
